Badly wrapped presents by yours truly

But wrapped with love

After 7 decades you’d think I could

Wrap like a Macys expert

Not so l.

But it is not the gifts that matter

But the love in the season

A chance for family’s to gather

Eat and drink swap stories

A time of magic and trust

Of saying sayings things that

Should have been said long ago.

For all of us no matter where we are

Or what faith we practice

Let us join together

With joyful hearts

Letting Christmas blessings

Flow like a river

To the sea of our common

Humanity.
