May I live to show kindness
Be a human flashlight
In the darkness.
May I hold my my head up
Though I am short
Stand tall in a world
That would push me down
If I let it.
May the love I show to others
Be passed on as a rare treasure
May my gifts not die inside me
But flow as a river to the sea.
